How can an Agent Reset their Password?

You can reset or change your HappyFox Help Desk password in two ways, depending on whether you can log in.
 

Available on all plans.

Reset your password from the login page

Use this if you have forgotten your password or cannot log in.
 

1. Go to your HappyFox Help Desk login page.
2. Click Forgot password.
   
3. Enter your login email address and submit the form.
4. Open the reset email from HappyFox Help Desk and click the link.
5. Enter and confirm your new password, then save.

​​Note​The reset link expires after a short time. If it has already expired when you try to use it, return to the login page and request a new one.

Change your password in My Settings

Use this if you are already logged in.

1. Click your name or avatar in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Select My Settings.
3. On the Basic Info tab, click Change Password.
   
4. Enter your current password in Current Password.
5. Enter your new password in New Password and again in Confirm new Password.
6. Complete the reCAPTCHA.
7. Click Change Password.

​​Note​Your password must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
