Linear is a fast and modern issue tracking tool designed for product and engineering teams to manage tasks efficiently. It provides streamlined workflows, automation, and project tracking capabilities.
With the Linear integration, HappyFox Helpdesk agents can:

Create a new Linear issue directly from a HappyFox Helpdesk ticket.

Link an existing Linear issue to a HappyFox Helpdesk ticket for easy tracking.

Enable two-way real-time synchronization between Linear comments and HappyFox ticket updates.

Configuring HappyFox to Connect to Linear:

Log in to HappyFox Helpdesk and navigate to the Apps module.

Search for Linear or browse under the Project Management category.

Click on the Linear tile and select Install.

Click Link Linear account to authorize your Linear account.

After authorization, you'll be redirected back to HappyFox, confirming that the integration is successfully set up.

You can synchronize HappyFox ticket updates and Linear comments across the two platforms.

Sync updates from HappyFox to Linear: Enabling this toggle will let you push HappyFox ticket replies and Private notes as "Comments" inside Linear.

Sync updates from Linear to HappyFox: Enabling this toggle will let you synchronize Linear "Comments" as Linear Sync notes inside HappyFox.

This setting can be overridden at the ticket level. To do so, open the individual ticket in Linear, click the edit button, and configure the sync settings for that specific ticket.
Creating a New Linear Issue:

Open a ticket in HappyFox Helpdesk.

In the Linear section on the right pane, click Create.

Select the Team, and Project where you want to create the issue.

The issue Name and description will be pre-filled with HappyFox ticket details.

Once the card is created, it will be visible in the right pane of the HappyFox Helpdesk ticket.

Clicking on the popover icon will take you directly to the respective Linear Issue.
Linking an Existing Linear Issue:

Open the ticket in HappyFox Helpdesk.

Click the Link button in the Linear section.

Paste the Linear Issue ID.

The linked issue will now be displayed in the right pane of the HappyFox ticket.
Unlinking an Existing Linear Issue:

Open the ticket in HappyFox Helpdesk.

Click on the Unlink button in the Linear section.

Confirm by clicking Unlink Issue.
Unlinking Linear Account:

Navigate to the Apps module in HappyFox Helpdesk.

Open the Manage page for the Linear integration.

Click Unlink Linear Account to disconnect the integration.
