Dialpad is a cloud-based business phone system that includes features like voice, video conferencing, messaging, and call center solutions. The integration of Dialpad with HappyFox centralizes communication, covering emails, social media conversations, and phone calls on one platform.
Dialpad Setup:
Add Department:
To set up a department, go to your Admin Settings on Dialpad.com.

Go to Departments.

Click on "Add a Department" (the + icon).

Name the department and provide a description.

Click on Create to finalize the setup.
Add a new number to the department:
To add a local number to the department, access your Admin Settings on Dialpad.com.

Go to the Departments

Access Department.
-
Click on "Add a Number."

Select "Local" as the number type.

Click on "Change" to choose a number, then select it.

Click "Next."

Review the payment summary and click "Add Number" to confirm.
Invite team members:
To add a team member (user), access your Admin Settings on Dialpad.com.

Go to Office.
-
Click on Users.
-
Select "Add User."

Enter an email address

Click "Enter" or press "Enter" to proceed.

Under "Edit," you will see a list of suggested and unassigned numbers within your company.

Select the desired number, then click "Add."

Review any billing changes and confirm adding the user(s).
Assign operator to department:
To assign an operator, go to your Admin Settings on Dialpad.com.

Navigate to Departments.

Choose "Assigned Operators & Phones."

Select "Add people from your team."

Enter the user's name or email address to assign them
Enable Office Administrator:
To configure the integration with Happyfox, ensure the user has company-level admin access:

Click on the drop-down menu and go to "My Company."

Choose "Administrator" from the options.

Search for and select the user who needs access.
Dialpad & Helpdesk Mapping:
Install Dialpad:
- Install the Dialpad app from All Apps → Dialpad.
Link Dialpad:
- Connect your Dialpad application to HappyFox by clicking the "Link Dialpad" button.
Authorization:

Authorize Happyfox to access your account data and text messages by clicking the "Allow" button.
Mapping with the dialpad department:
- Associate the corresponding category from HappyFox with your Dialpad department, enable the voice and SMS checkboxes, and then click "Save."
