Assist AI can help deflect questions from employees by suggesting relevant answers from the added knowledge source. This article explains the steps involved in integrating your Notion knowledge source with Assist AI.
Pre-requisite:
For Slack users: You should be an Assist AI admin to complete the installation of Assist AI on Slack.
For Teams users: You should be a Global admin on Teams to complete the installation of Assist AI on Teams
Integrating Assist AI with Notion
Integrating Assist AI with Notion allows you to reuse your existing content from Notion to help answer employee queries from within Slack / Teams.

Sign in to your Notion Account

If you are using Assist AI on Slack, open your Slack Workspace → click on Apps → Assist AI → Home tab→ Manage Assist AI

If you are using Assist AI on Teams, open your Teams workspace → click on Assist AI on the left tab → Home tab→ Manage Assist AI

This opens your Assist AI Admin dashboard

Head to the Apps section on the left pane and then click Notion from the Knowledge Source section

Click on the Link button

click on Select Pages to choose the content you would like to import into Assist AI

After selecting the content, click Allow Access

Your Notion account has now been successfully integrated with Assist AI

You can then choose the list of pages to sync between Notion and Assist AI and click Submit. Data sync allows Assist AI to fetch the latest content from Notion.
Testing the integration between Assist AI and Notion:

Open your Slack / Teams Workspace, head to Apps → Assist AI

Click on the Messages tab

Enter a question from the knowledge available in your Notion account

Assist AI will fetch relevant answers from your Notion knowledge source.

Your Notion integration and testing have now been successfully completed.
Note: It takes about 20 minutes to complete the data import. Please test the integration after that.
