How to create a Holiday Auto-mailer with Notifications?

Using your HappyFox Account's Notifications, you can create a Template to use as your Helpdesk's Holiday/Vacation Auto-mailer. You may also add an image in your Holiday Auto-mailer, if you'd like it a bit more festive.

Just follow the below steps to set this up:

Step 1: Login to your HappyFox account, and go to Manage >> Notifications >> New Ticket Auto-responder >> Add new Template.

Step 2: You will then be provided the option to customize your template for the holiday auto-mailer. You may also customize the subject of the email. Once you've done all the necessary editing, and have added your required content in the template, click Save Settings to create the template.

Step 3: On the same page, select the notification template for each of your categories under the Template in Use section.

Step 4: After selecting the template please be sure to scroll down and click Save Settings.

With this in place each time a customer raises a ticket in one of your categories, they will receive Holiday Auto-mailer you have in place.

  1. Upload the image to a publicly accessible location - TinyPic, Dropbox, Google Drive etc.
  2. To add the image in the email content, click the HTML button to bring up the HTML editor tool.

  3. Add the direct link to the image inside a <img src=""> tag as below:

    <img src="your-image-URL-source">
    Replace your-image-URL-source here with the direct link to your image. With your image URL and the tag, it should look something like this:

  4. Click Update and the image will then appear, which you can then resize by dragging the corners:

  5. Click Save Settings to confirm your changes.

Important: Once your holiday/vacation is over, do remember to select your actual New Ticket Auto-responder template to stop sending out the OOO vacation auto-mailer to your customers.
