Asset Warranty Reminder creates tickets before asset warranties expire. The AI Agent monitors an asset date field and creates reminder tickets in the category you choose.

Before you start

Make sure your Help Desk account has:

Asset Warranty Reminder runs on a scheduled asset trigger. This setup flow does not include a Supervised Mode setting.

If these asset fields are not ready, prepare the asset type and date fields before hiring the AI Agent.

Start from the AI Agent

  1. Open Autopilot > Home.
  2. Find Asset Warranty Reminder.
  3. Select Hire Agent.

The setup flow opens on the Onboard step.

Name the AI Agent

  1. Give your AI Agent a name.
  2. Keep or edit the description so it explains when the AI Agent creates warranty reminder tickets.

Choose the assets to monitor

  1. In Select asset type to monitor, choose the asset type the AI Agent should watch.
  2. In Select the asset field to monitor for warranty expiration, choose the date field that stores warranty expiry.

If the field you expect is missing, check the asset type configuration before continuing.

Decide when and where tickets are created

  1. In Select the category where tickets should be created, choose the ticket category for warranty reminder tickets.
  2. In Ticket contact email, enter the contact email to associate with created tickets.
  3. In Number of days before warranty expiration to trigger alert, enter how early Autopilot should create the reminder ticket.

For example, enter 30 to create the reminder ticket 30 days before the warranty expiration date.

Review before deployment

  1. Select Continue.
  2. Review the Deploy step.
  3. Confirm the trigger, asset type, asset field, ticket category, ticket contact email, alert window, AI Agent name, and description.
  4. Select Deploy Agent only after you confirm the configuration is correct.

Note: Deploying creates the hired AI Agent immediately. Review the configuration carefully before you select Deploy Agent.

What happens after deployment

The AI Agent appears in Autopilot > Hired Agents. When matching assets approach their warranty expiration date, Autopilot creates reminder tickets in the selected category.

After its first scheduled run, open Agent Activity Log to confirm whether it created the expected tickets or needs attention. If the result needs adjustment, open Hired Agents and update its configuration.
