Troubleshoot unexpected Autopilot credit usage

Last updated

Unexpected Autopilot credit usage usually points to an access, scope, configuration, dependency, timing, or data issue.

Check recent usage

  1. Open Autopilot > Credits & Usage.
  2. Review recent usage and note the dates where usage changed.
  3. Compare usage timing with recent AI Agent deployments or configuration changes.

Check AI Agent activity

  1. Open Agent Activity Log for the same date range.
  2. Review which AI Agents completed billable work.
  3. Check whether a broad category or Autopilot Mode caused more tickets or records to match than expected.

Adjust scope if needed

  1. Narrow ticket categories or record scope for high-volume tasks.
  2. Use Supervised Mode when available while reviewing usage patterns.
  3. Deactivate or reconfigure an AI Agent if it is running outside the intended support task.

Confirm the fix

After changing scope, monitor Credits & Usage and Agent Activity Log together for the next few runs.
