This article confirms what to expect when using Email as the platform for the Request Approval action — the default experience already described in How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows.
Prerequisites
- You must have a workflow with a Request Approval action already added. See How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows if you haven't configured one yet.
Steps
- In the Request Approval action, select Email from the Platform dropdown.

- Configure the approvers, decision logic, subject, and message fields as described in How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows.
- Click Save.
Note: Approvers respond using the Approve and Decline buttons in the email they receive. See How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows for how these buttons are configured in the Message field.
