How global search works in Service Desk?

The unified global search bar on the app header will allow you to search for incidents, service requests, problems, changes, releases and requesters within the Service desk right from anywhere within the application.

  • You can search using a keyword based on which search suggestions will be displayed in the dropdown dynamically.
  • Once a search is initiated, the search results page will display the following tabs with the respective search results in each of the tabs.
    1. Incidents
    2. Service Requests
    3. Problems
    4. Changes
    5. Releases
    6. Requesters
  • Based on the keyword, search will happen across the modules Incidents, Service Requests and Requesters and results will be displayed in the respective tabs. 
  • Clear search button can be used to reset the search and return to the previous queue listing page.
