This article covers what's specific to Microsoft Teams when using the Request Approval action — selecting MS Teams as the platform and how approvers respond. For the full setup — configuring approvers, decision logic, and the Approved and Declined branches — see How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows.
Prerequisites
- Your HappyFox Workflows account must be integrated with Microsoft Teams. See Integrate your Microsoft Teams account with HappyFox Workflows.
- You must have a workflow with a Request Approval action already added. See How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows if you haven't configured one yet.
Steps
- In the Request Approval action, select Microsoft Teams from the Platform dropdown.

- Configure the approvers, decision logic, subject, and message fields as described in How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows.
- Click Save.
Note: Once this workflow runs, approvers receive a direct message from the HappyFox Workflows bot in Microsoft Teams, where they can approve or decline the request.

Your workflow now sends approval requests through Microsoft Teams. Next, see How to Set Up an Approval Workflow in HappyFox Workflows to configure the Approved and Declined branches that run after a decision is made.
