Connecting to Answers module in Assist AI to deflect queries

Assist AI is a conversational AI and ticketing tool that can reside within Slack and MS Teams. It can help deflect questions from employees by suggesting relevant answers from the added knowledge source. This article explains the steps to configure Assist AI's Answers module to help deflect queries.

 

Pre-requisite:

 

For Slack users: You should be an Assist AI admin to complete the installation of Assist AI on Slack.

For Teams users: You should be a Global admin on Teams to complete the installation of Assist AI on Teams

 

 

Setting up the Answers module in Assist AI:

 

  • If you are using Assist AI on Slack, open your Slack Workspace → click on Apps → Assist AI → Home tab→ Manage Assist AI 

  • If you are using Assist AI on Teams, open your Teams workspace → click on Assist AI on the left tab → Home tab→ Manage Assist AI 

  • Go to the Assist AI Admin dashboard

  • Click on the Answers module on the left pane

  • Click on New answer

  • Now enter a Question or Title and an answer for the same

  • Click Save, you can add more content to the Answers module by repeating the above steps

Testing the Answers module set up on Assist AI:

 

  • Go to your Slack/ Teams Workspace Apps Assist AI

  • Open to the Messages tab 

  • Enter a question from the content added to the Answers module in the chat

  • Assist AI will suggest the relevant answer for the same from the content added to the Answers module

You have now successfully deflected your first question with the Assist AI Answers module.
