Term Meaning
Required The workflow cannot run this step without a value.
Optional The field can be left blank; the action will still run.
Text A plain string of characters.
List of extra fields A list of key/value pairs used to set additional Salesforce fields beyond the standard ones. Each entry has a Key (the Salesforce field API name) and a Value.

Contact Actions

Search for a Contact

Searches Salesforce for a Contact record matching the given email address and returns the first result found.

Email The email address to search for in Salesforce Contacts. Required · Text

Create a Contact

Creates a new Contact record in Salesforce. At minimum, the first name, last name, and the Account the contact belongs to are required.

Account ID The Salesforce record ID of the Account this contact belongs to. Required · Text

Update a Contact

Updates an existing Contact record in Salesforce, identified by its record ID.

Search for an Account
