Triggering a HappyFox workflow from your Salesforce account

HappyFox Workflows on integrating with Salesforce allows you to automate steps within the Salesforce account. You can trigger a workflow from your Salesforce account as well to automate steps on HappyFox helpdesk.

 

Steps to create a Workflow trigger in Salesforce account:

 

1. Integrate your HappyFox Workflows and Salesforce account.

2. Go to HappyFox workflows and create a new workflow. Copy the webhook URL to your notepad.

3. Log into your Salesforce account and click on the Setup icon

 

 

 

3. Create a New Workflow Rule under the Process Automation section.

 

 

 

4.The Webhook trigger can be chosen for any object, let's take the example of the object Lead here. Choose the object as Lead.

5. Enter a description and choose the evaluation/rule criteria as shown below. These conditions can be modified based on your business needs.

 

 

6. Click Save and Next.

7. Now, select the workflow action as Outbound message. Under the Outbound message section enter the details as given below. The Webhook URL copied from HappyFox Workflows on step 2 needs to be pasted for the Endpoint URL field. Then Save the details.

 

 

8. Click Done and then enable the Workflow Rule by clicking on the Activate button.

 

 

 

Steps to Trigger the Workflow:

 

1. Now go to HappyFox Workflows, click on the Workflow created earlier and Fetch a new Webhook.

2. Create a Lead now in your Salesforce account.

 

3. Then check the webhook fetched in HappyFox Workflows. It should contain the payload with the Lead's information.

 

 

4. Now click proceed and add workflow actions as per your business needs.

5. You can add an action to create a ticket. You can also add further actions to automate steps.
