This article describes the action available when you connect Wrike to HappyFox Workflows, and lists the project management operations you can automate with this integration.
Triggers
The Wrike integration does not provide triggers. Workflows that include Wrike actions are started by a HappyFox Help Desk trigger or another connected app.
Actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create Task | Creates a new task in a specified Wrike folder or project, with fields such as title, description, assignee, and due date. |
Note: The Link Wrike Task To A Ticket and Unlink Wrike Task From A Ticket actions — which link or unlink an existing Wrike task to a HappyFox Help Desk ticket — are separate actions available under HappyFox Help Desk actions, not listed here.
Use cases
Create a Wrike task when a ticket requires project team action: When a support ticket identifies a task that needs to be handled by a project or operations team working in Wrike, automatically create a Wrike task with the ticket subject and description pre-filled — so the handoff from support to the project team happens immediately without manual re-entry.
Track feature requests as Wrike tasks: When a ticket is categorised as a feature request in HappyFox Help Desk, automatically create a Wrike task in the product backlog project — giving the product team a trackable item created directly from customer demand, without the support team needing access to Wrike.
Create an action item from an escalated ticket: When a ticket is escalated to a senior team or manager, automatically create a Wrike task in the relevant team's project folder — ensuring the escalated item is visible in the team's workflow tool and assigned to the right person without a manual handoff.
Generate recurring operational tasks from ticket patterns: When a specific ticket category or tag is applied in HappyFox Help Desk — for example, a category that flags infrastructure or maintenance work — automatically create a corresponding Wrike task so operational teams have a trackable item in their project management tool.
