Configure WooCommerce Integration with HappyFox HelpDesk

WooCommerce is a leading e-commerce platform for WordPress that enables businesses of all sizes to create, manage, and operate online stores. As businesses expand and engage with a growing number of customers, streamlining customer support becomes vital. This is where the integration between HappyFox Help Desk comes into play. The HappyFox - WooCommerce integration allows agents to view the WooCommerce customer information and their recent orders right within a HappyFox ticket.
Additionally, agents can perform a quick search of WooCommerce customers and order information and use it while creating a new HappyFox ticket.

HappyFox - WooCommerce integration Setup:

  • There are two key steps to configure and enable the WooCommerce integration with HappyFox
  • Configure API scope in your WooCommerce Site
  • Configure the WooCommerce account in HappyFox Help Desk Account

Configure API scope in your WooCommerce site:

Follow the steps explained below to create an API key within your WooCommerce site

  • Log into your WooCommerce site in WordPress from the left navigation pane.
  • Navigate to your WooCommerce store Settings > Advanced > REST APIAdd Key.
  • Enter the necessary information and click Generate API Key.
    Note: Read permission is sufficient when generating an API key.

 

  • Copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret displayed in the screen.

Important Note:

  • Make sure to copy your new keys now as the secret key will be hidden once you leave this page.
  • This access token is required to complete the WooCommerce integration Setup in HappyFox.
  • This token should be configured within HappyFox Help Desk to authenticate the API requests to fetch Customer and Order information from your WooCommerce site.

Configure the WooCommerce site in HappyFox:

  • Login into your HappyFox Help Desk account and navigate to Main Menu > Apps > E-commerce > WooCommerce.
  • Click on Install button below the WooCommerce Logo.
  • Provide the following details,
    • Enter WooCommerce Site URL: Please enter your WooCommerce site URL here
    • Consumer Key: Paste the Consumer Key generated from your WooCommerce site here.
    • Consumer Secret: Paste the Consumer Secret generated from your WooCommerce site here.

 

  • Click on Save to update the settings.
  • The WooCommerce Integration setup with HappyFox Help Desk is complete.

Note:

  • You should have the "Manage apps settings" permission to enable, configure or update this integration in HappyFox.
