With the latest update, Workflows now offers the ability to clone workflows and reorder actions within the workflow. This new functionality enhances the efficiency and flexibility of creating and managing workflows, allowing users to replicate existing workflows and customize action sequences effortlessly.

Cloning Workflows:

Users can now clone entire workflows or individual steps within a workflow with just a few clicks. Here's how:

1. Clone Entire Workflow:

  •    Click on the three dots positioned next to the Workflow enable toggle on the Workflow builder page.
  •    Select the Clone option from the dropdown menu.
  •    A duplicate copy of the entire workflow will be created, allowing users to make additional modifications as needed.

2. Clone Individual Steps:

  •    Next to each action within the workflow, you will find a Clone button.
  •    Clicking on this button will replicate the specific action, enabling you to reuse and customize individual steps as required.

Reordering Actions:

In addition to cloning Workflows, users can now reorder actions within a workflow to optimize the sequence of execution. Follow these steps to reorder actions:

1. Click on the three dots positioned next to the Workflow enable toggle on the Workflow builder page.
2. Select the Reorder Actions option to open the reorder mode.
3. Simply drag and drop the actions to rearrange them in the desired order.
4. The changes will be automatically saved, ensuring that the workflow reflects the updated action sequence.

Please Note: The Actions within the workflow will be executed in the order in which they are saved, ensuring seamless workflow execution. The reordering feature supports both parent and nested actions. Users can rearrange not only primary actions but also any sub-actions nested within them.

While most actions can be reordered freely, certain actions may have dependencies. In such cases, the system identifies these dependencies and provides a list of affected fields. Users can adjust the flow accordingly or ensure appropriate values for affected fields.
