Configure Zoho CRM Integration with HappyFox

Zoho CRM software is an online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for managing your sales, marketing & support in a single system.

With HappyFox-Zoho CRM integration, your support agents can:

  • View Zoho customer information from HappyFox ticket detail and new ticket form.
  • Create cases automatically in Zoho while creating HappyFox tickets

 

How to Integrate Zoho CRM with HappyFox:

  • Log in to HappyFox.
  • Go to Apps >> CRM >> Zoho CRM.
  • Click Install. In the subsequent screen, you will be asked to provide  "Client ID", "Client Secret" and "Self-Client Token"
  • Log in to your Zoho CRM account.
    • Visit Zoho CRM API console.
    • Click "Add Client".
      • Specify Client Type as "Self Client".
      • Copy the Self Client's Client ID and Client Secret. You will have to paste this code inside HappyFox later.
      • Navigate to the "Generate code" Tab.
      • Enter the Scope as "ZohoCRM.modules.all"
        • Set Time Duration as 3 minutes.
        • Under Scope Description, specify "HappyFox Integration".
      • Click "Create".

  • In the subsequent screen, select the correct production portal in Zoho CRM and click "Create" to continue.

  • You will now be provided with a code. Please copy this code to your clipboard. This is your "Self-Client Token" You will have to paste this code inside HappyFox in the next step.

  • Switch back to Zoho CRM integrations page inside HappyFox.

  • Paste the  "Client ID", "Client Secret" and "Self-Client Token" obtained from Zoho CRM.

  • Click "Save". This Enables the HappyFox - Zoho CRM integration.

 Note: Clicking on "Edit" would redirect you to the corresponding contact's landing page inside Zoho CRM.
 

Pushing HappyFox Ticket information into Zoho CRM:

To push HappyFox ticket information into Zoho CRM as "contact-cases"

  • Go to Apps >> CRM >> Zoho CRM.
  • Click Manage, then Enable "Push Ticket Information to CRM".
  • Click Save.

 

Once it is enabled, you would find the ticket information inside the corresponding contacts page's cases section inside Zoho CRM when new tickets are created in HappyFox:

 

 

Disable Zoho CRM App from HappyFox:

Only one CRM app can be active in your HappyFox account. If you would like to try out other CRM apps, you have to disable Zoho CRM app first.

Steps:

  • Go to Apps >> CRM >> Zoho CRM.
  • Click "Manage".
  • To temporarily disable the app, click "disable the app" link inside "Status".
