With Automatic Contact Deletion, you can configure HappyFox to automatically delete contacts that have their last ticket moved to "Completed" status before a configurable period.
Available in all pricing plans. Please reach out to support@happyfox.com to gain access to this feature.
Navigation:
Go to Manage >> Data Privacy.
Permission Alert: Only agents with "Manage Data privacy" permission can view this submodule.
Automatic Contact Deletion
- Click on the "+" icon under Data deletion (Tab) >> Automatic Contact Deletion.
- Creation Form explained:
- Name: This will be the contact deletion rule name.
- Description: Add more description for your agents to understand when this rule will run.
- Completed tickets older than: The contact's last ticket moved to a completed status before "X number of days". If you want to delete a contact which has the last ticket moved to the closed ticket before 1 year, then choose the 1 year here.
- How the deletion rule is built: Automatic contact deletion will apply for the contact which has its last ticket moved to completed behavior status that is older than <completed tickets older than value>. In other words, Contacts which have the last ticket moved to the closed status before 1 year will be deleted automatically.
- The review page lets you review the deletion rule created, the number of contacts that are eligible for contact deletion at that instant and deletion notice which explains the consequences of creating this deletion rule.
Impact of automatic contact deletion:
- Tickets associated with the contacts will also be deleted.
- This action cannot be reverted.
- Deleted contacts cannot be retrieved.
- Contacts linked to assets cannot be deleted.
