You can customize and update the Assist AI bot's display name in your Slack workspace by following these steps:

Open your Slack Workspace → Apps → Assist AI

Right-click on Assist AI

Click on View app details

Then click on Configuration

This will take you to the app's Slack directory page

Scroll down to the Bot user module and click on the Edit next to the Bot user

You can rename the bot here

Click Save changes
-
You will now be able to see the updated name for the bot in your Slack workspace.
Note: The changes might take about 30 mins to reflect in the Home tab of Assist AI.
