This integration connects HappyFox ServiceDesk with HappyFox Workflows, allowing you to automate IT service management processes like incident creation, request updates. It’s designed to help IT teams streamline repetitive tasks and ensure consistent service operations without manual input.

Prerequisites:

Plan:

  • Supported on all HappyFox and HappyFox ServiceDesk plans.

Permissions:

  • Your HappyFox ServiceDesk user must be an Administrator.

Use Case:

  • Automated Ticket Logging: Create incidents or service requests in ServiceDesk when specific events occur in third-party systems like monitoring tools or form submissions.
  • Cross-App Syncing: Update ServiceDesk tickets when workflows detect changes in tools like CRMs, HR systems, or asset managers.
  • Conditional Escalations: Use workflow rules to auto-update incidents or escalate requests based on ticket priority, type, or SLA breach.

Setting Up the Integration:

  • Ensure both HappyFox ServiceDesk and HappyFox Workflows are logged in using the same browser session.

  • In HappyFox Workflows, navigate to App Store → Search for HappyFox ServiceDesk → Install App.

  • Enter your HappyFox ServiceDesk account URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.supporthive.com/).

  • You’ll be redirected to the ServiceDesk authorization page.

  • Review the requested permissions and click Approve.
