Configuring Account Settings in Service Desk

This article explains the different sections of the account settings page and guide you through the process of making necessary configurations. You can tailor your service desk to align with your organisation's settings and branding requirements by customsing the Service Desk settings.

 

Basic Settings tab

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Manage > Account Settings > Basic Settings Tab

2. Following details will be displayed in this section and the admin can configure as required.

 

Account Administrator

The account administrator is the primary user who signed up for the service desk instance. Besides inviting other staff members to the application, the account administrator has additional capabilities within the HappyFox application. For more information about account administrator privileges and permissions, refer to this article.

 

Company Name

This field displays the name of your company as it was entered during the account creation process. You can update the company name in this section.

 

End User Support Center URL

The URL of your support center is displayed here, allowing end users to access the support portal.

 

Agent Login URL

This section shows the URL of the agent portal, which is where your support agents can log in to access and manage tickets.

 

Default Timezone

Select your account's default timezone from the provided drop-down box. This ensures that timestamps and time-related information are accurate within your service desk.

 

Language

Service Desk allows you to set the default timezone and language settings for every new agent added to your support system. Choose the preferred language from the drop-down box. Please note that only account administrators can change these settings.

 

Country Code

Admins can update the country code associated with your account in this field..

 

Personalization Tab

1. Navigate to Main Menu > Manage > Account Settings > Personalization Tab

2. Following details will be displayed in this section and the admin can configure as required.

 

Service Desk Name

Enter the desired name for your service desk in this field. By default, the application name is set as HappyFox, but you can customise it to match your organisation's branding.

 

Company Logo

Upload your company logo in this section to personalize your service desk. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, GIF, and BMP. Logo  dimensions larger than 500x90 pixels will be automatically resized to fit.

 

Favicon

Favicon is the small icon that appears in the browser tab. Set a custom favicon for your service desk in this section. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, GIF, and BMP. Favicon's larger than 16x16 pixels will be resized to fit.
