Audit Logs

HappyFox audit log lets you track the actions/changes made across the app. Having detailed audit logs helps companies monitor data and keep track of potential security breaches or internal misuse of information.

HappyFox provides two types of audit logs. 

  1. Basic audit logs: Contain agent login sessions with timestamps. 

  2. Advanced audit logs: Includes activities recorded in the modules listed below.

Note: Basic audit logs will be available for all plans. Advanced audit logs will be available for the Enterprise Plus, Scale and Scale Plus plans.

 

How to access the audit log. 

 

  1. Navigate to Manage >> Audit Logs 

Note: Only agents with “View Audit logs” permission can view this module. 

  1. You can view the audit log here as shown below

  1. Audit Log table contains 

    1. When: Timestamp on when the action happened. This is shown in the agent’s timezone. 

    2.  Where: Displays the IP address of the agent who performed the action/change. 

    3. Actor: The agent who initiated the action/change. 

    4. Action Type: Indicates the action type as create/update/delete. 

    5. Target: The module in which the change occurred. 

    6. Action: Description of the action taken by the agent. 

 

How to export audit logs? 

Note: Only agents with "View and Export Audit logs" to their role. will be able to perform export.

  1. Choose the “Export” option present in the top right corner. 

  1. Choose the timeframe for which you want to export the audit logs for. 

  2. Choose the export form as either csv/xlxs

  3. Only confirmed, the audit log will be generated and emailed to the agent who initiated the export request.
